I recently had the opportunity to appear on the Constellations Center for Equity in Computing’s podcast, VOICES, to discuss the unique role of philanthropy in expanding access, improving quality, and enhancing the experience of computer science education in schools all over the country. The conversation also touched on topics like learning environment design, and some of the critical areas that we’ve been focusing on in the last year about creating spaces that improve student outcomes and quality of life.
It was a great opportunity to go deep on the important role that philanthropy has to play in advancing learning and education, and I’m grateful to the Constellations team for the opportunity to share more about SFE’s approach to grantmaking in this particular interest area and much more broadly.
