The board of Siegel Family Endowment (SFE) has announced Katy Knight as the organization’s new Executive Director. Since January 2017, Katy had served as SFE’s Deputy Executive Director, and will now lead SFE as the organization expands the scope of its research operation and develops new policy objectives.
To date, Katy has overseen SFE’s day-to-day operations and guided the development of the organization’s grantmaking strategy. In this new role, she will manage new initiatives designed to expand SFE’s research and public policy work, and work closely with the board to elevate the organization’s profile as a leading authority on the societal impacts of rapid, ongoing technological change.
Prior to SFE, Katy worked in Community Engagement at Two Sigma. She was previously at Google, where she worked on public engagement efforts, and has served on her local community board in Queens.
